Now in its ninth year, the Peaceful Mind Peaceful Life series offers workshops and lectures to help calm the mind and lift the spirit. The workshops are built around “The Practice,” a set of practical tools developed by Schmidt that can be used daily. These tools are intended to help cultivate a peaceful mind to lead a happier, more loving, more mindful and more peaceful life.
The Peaceful Mind/Peaceful Life Series is presented by FAU’s Peace Studies Program in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, in partnership with the Schmidt Family Foundation. For more information about peace studies at FAU, call 561-297-2337 or visit www.fau.edu/peacestudies.
