Jeffrey Morton to Present 'New President, New Foreign Policy: A Two-Month Assessment'

Florida Atlantic University's Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters will present the lecture "New President, New Foreign Policy: A Two-Month Assessment," with Jeffrey Morton, Ph.D., foreign policy association fellow and FAU professor of political science. The lecture will take place on Monday, March 27 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the University Theatre, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus. In 2012, Morton received the Foreign Policy Association Medal. Past recipients of this award include U.S. President Bill Clinton, U.S. Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright, and U.S. Secretary of Defense William Cohen.

Morton specializes in international law and diplomacy. He received his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina with a specialization in international law. Morton also has published three books, numerous journal entries, organized two major conferences at FAU, and founded the FAU Diplomacy Program, which has received many top awards.
