‘Exit 26,’ The Fall 2014 Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition

The University Galleries will present “Exit 26,” the Fall 2014 BFA Exhibition from Friday, Nov. 14 through Friday, Dec. 12, in the Ritter Art Gallery,777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The exhibition and opening reception are free and open to the public.

“Exit 26” is the thesis exhibition for 26 emerging artists and designers working in various media  including painting, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design and photography. Themes presented in the exhibition will span social and cultural critiques and conceptual investigations of form and material.

Participating artists and designers include Ashley Akerman, Lucas Andahl,  Audrey Aurigemma, Jose Casado, Westley Cedeno, Oshea Clemmons, Dillon Durando,  Michelle Johnson, Katie Kearns, Adam Lowy, Sharnel Lyttle, Ariel Martinez, Vincent Miranda, Barbara G. Montanelli, Maria Mor, Amanda Musselman, Amanda M. Pamas, Christina Pappas, Viviana Puga, Amber Reed, Lisa Stephens, Carson Tharp, Katryna Vanande, Stacey Marie Walking, Juan Zapata and Shana Zingman.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts is a selective degree program intended for students who plan to pursue a professional career in art or design, or prepare for specialized graduate study.

The University Galleries are open Tuesday through Friday, 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays, 1 to 5 p.m. Class and group tours are welcome during public hours or at alternative times by appointment.
