Florida Atlantic University's Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters recently received a four-piece Persian blown glass wall installation that was created by American artist Dale Chihuly. The installation was generously donated by The Dobbs Family and has been installed in FAU's Culture and Society Building, outside of the Living Room Theaters, which is open to the public with movies and the Living Room Theatres café.

"The location was requested by the donor so that students, faculty and particularly the public coming to our Living Room Theaters would be able to enjoy the beauty and impressiveness of the installation every day," said Heather Coltman, dean of FAU's Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters. "We have already heard from patrons and students that the installation provides an amazing upgrade to the area. It truly is stunning."

"My family is thrilled to be able to share our Chihuly installation with the FAU community and Boca Raton," said Rochelle Dobbs, the donor. "We hope it will inspire the talented faculty and students whom view it."
