The University Galleries in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters at Florida Atlantic University will present the “APEX: Bachelor of Fine Arts” exhibition from Friday, Nov. 22 through Friday, Dec. 14 in the Ritter Gallery, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus. There will be an opening reception with a cash bar and a live acoustic performance by Raggy Monster on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. The exhibition and opening reception are free and open to the public.
“APEX”is the thesis exhibition for graduating students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in the Department of Visual Arts and Art History. The 19 artists included in this exhibition are: Shavonne Adams, Ingrid Barreneche, Robyn Berman, Samantha Brooks, Alyssa Espinoza, Melissa Fredendall, Peter Gioello, Kimberly Heise, Pauland Joasil, Man Liu, April McKay, Amalia Mermingas, Andrea Montoya, Woody Othello, Isidro Pentzke, Elise Raffa, Mark Ragoonathsingh, Deanna Ramcharan, and Cree Townsend. The artists will present works in photography, painting and sculpture.
