Theatre and Dance to Present ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’

FAU's Department of Theatre and Dance in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters presents "The Diary of Anne Frank" from Friday, Nov. 11 through Saturday, Nov. 20. The play will take place in Studio One Theatre, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus. Tickets are $20. FAU faculty, staff tickets are $15 and students are $12. To purchase tickets, visit www.fauevents.com or call 1-800-564-9539.

Tickets also can be purchased at the Box Office in FAU's Student Union, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is free in Garage II.

In a new adaptation that the New York Times and New York Post called "undeniably moving" and "an extraordinary theatrical adventure," this powerful fresh version of the familiar story rises to new levels of authenticity. It tells a deeper story that has restored the terror and shatters the heart. Anne Frank demands that we remember that the vilification of others is not only dangerous but that it destroys our humanity. She reminds us to celebrate our diversity, to defend it daily and to continue to hope with arms open wide. The play at FAU is directed by Jean-Louis Baldet.
