ROLE DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY PLAYED IN YOUR CAREER:

TMy background in history definitely gave me an advantage when I first started as a Desk Assistant at NBC. Part of my first job was greeting guests and chatting them up while bringing them to the green room. Being able to talk about the evolution of the European Union with a State Department spokesman or discussing failed 1930’s immigration bills with a former National Security Advisor left an impression, and they’d remember the next time they came to the studio.
