Ana-Christina participates in Anderson Cooper 360 panel

PhD student Ana-Christina Acosta Gaspar De Alba recently took part in a panel on Anderson Cooper 360 which discussed Democrats’ views regarding the upcoming elections for Florida’s governor. Although the panel focused largely on Hillary Clinton’s involvement in endorsing and campaigning for Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, Ana-Christina’s work with the Democratic Party casts a much wider net. Ana-Christina has been working tirelessly with the Palm Beach county Democratic party along with fellow PhD student Matt Prater since mid-August to promote awareness and voter turnout this upcoming election cycle. Ana-Christina’s research focuses on researching low Latinx voter turnout at the polls, and she plans to work with the Democratic Party full-time after she graduates with her PhD.
