Why Choose FAU?
Choosing the right University is your next big decision. And the reasons to choose FAU are as diverse as our 27,000 students and the 200 countries they call home.
• FAU is convenient, with seven campuses in South Florida and many degree programs online.
• FAU is respected as a quality institution, ranked by the Carnegie Foundation, Princeton Review and others.
• FAU provides the personal attention found in many small, private colleges while offering the resources of a major, research University.
And regardless if you are coming to FAU from another university or perhaps a community college, when you transfer to FAU you are joining a family of scholars who are focused on world-class education.
Connections you make at the University will last a lifetime. FAU sponsors hundreds of pre-professional student associations and activities designed to enrich the learning experience and enhance your future career opportunities. And while there is no substitute for face-to-face learning in the classroom, we seek out real-world experiences that enhance your classroom experience, such as internships, hands-on research and study-abroad opportunities. FAU is committed to creating an educational experience that works for you.
