Campus Tours begin in our Office of Undergraduate Admissions Theater inside the Student Support Services Building. Your tour group will be led by one of our Student Admissions Ambassadors.
-Your tour will be approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hours long, beginning with a 10 to 15 minute Welcome Session in our Admissions Theater., which is adjoining to our Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Your tour will conclude back at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. If you have any questions after the tour, our admissions team members are happy to meet with you and your family. -The tour route is planned to show a day in the life of an FAU Owl on campus. We go on a comprehensive tour of the campus including going into a classroom(s) when available, the Atlantic Dining Hall, our S.E. Wimberly Library, passing by the majority of the College's buildings, passing by the FAU Stadium, and going into our Recreation and Fitness Center. ---Our campus visits currently do not include housing but you are welcome to explore our residence halls through our virtual tours here.
-We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes before your tour begins. -Touring our tropical Boca Raton campus for a walking tour calls for comfortable clothing and shoes. -Hydration is also important so we recommend you bring a refillable water bottle with you, as we have water bottle refilling stations on the tour. -Depending on the forecast, please be prepared for rain in our tropical climate, especially if you are touring with us in the afternoon. Due to weather forecasts and protecting the safey of our guests and student leaders, our campus visits may not be able to conduct a walking tour due to inclement weather. If this occurs, we invite guests for a special campus presentation within the Admissions Theater to take our virtual tour experience.-Please note that our campus tours are not offered on certain days such as state and university holidays and are not offered on certain days during our winter and summer breaks when classes are not in session. We appreciate your understanding in these instances.
