Applying to one of FAU's Honors Programs

In order to be considered for either the University Honors program or the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, you must first be accepted for admission to Florida Atlantic University. Students who meet certain criteria will receive an invitation to join an Honors Program of their choice after their acceptance to the University. 

Students can also apply to one or both of our honors options once they are admitted to the University. Most of the students who are accepted into these honors programs will have SAT scores of 1800 or higher on all 3 parts (26 or higher on the ACT) and a high school grade point average of at least 3.8, but exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

So, if you feel that you have a strong academic record and are up to the challenge, apply to become an FAU honors student  in the University Honors Program, the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, or both. These are both excellent opportunities, and one of them may be just perfect for you!
