Applying for One of FAU’s Honors Options
In order to be considered for either the University Scholars program or the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, you must first be accepted for admission to Florida Atlantic University. So, be sure to complete our convenient online application at http://www.fau.edu/admissions/Apply_Online.php.
Upon your admission to the University, you can apply to one or both of our honors choices. Most of the students who are accepted into these honors opportunities will have SAT scores of 1800 or higher on all 3 parts (26 or higher on the ACT) and a high school grade point average of at least 3.3, but exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
So, if you feel that you have a strong academic record and are up to the challenge, apply to become an FAU honors student – in the University Scholars Program, the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, or both. These are both excellent opportunities, and one of them may be just perfect for you!
