Change of Major Request

If you have not received an admissions decision, please  submit your request by e-mail to

We cannot take this request by phone. It must in writing directly from our new FAU Owl. 

Please include the following in your email to us: 

  • Please place "Change of Major" in the subject of your email 
  • Your first and last name
  • Your Student ID number (Your Z number)
  • If you do not know your Student ID number, please include your birth date
  • Your new major

All admitted students will need to complete and submit the Undergraduate Major/Minor Change form through University Academic Advising and the Office of the Registrar.
