Welcome
to the Home page for the Controller’s Office at Florida Atlantic University.
We have
developed this site to better serve our students, faculty and staff
and to keep everyone informed of ongoing events and changes within the
office. The Controller’s office has two locations within the University.
Student Financial Services is located in the Student Service Building
on the 2nd floor and the Accounting office is located in
the Administration Building on the 1st floor.
Mission
Statement
It is the
primary mission of the Florida Atlantic University Controller's Office to:

Establish and communicate
policies and procedures necessary to ensure the proper and efficient use
of University resources. |

Maintain an accurate and
effective accounting and reporting system |
|
 |
Provide campus leadership
in the development of effective control systems to safeguard University
assets. |
|
 |
Receive and deposit funds
due the University and maintain and process the University's payroll. |
|
 |
Ensure the prompt and
proper settlement of amounts owed by the University. |
|
 |
Maintain the University's
accounting, financial reporting systems and University's banking
relationships. |
|
 |
Provide oversight and
management to ensure the integrity of all University financial affairs.
|

 |
Actively promote and
monitor compliance with appropriate State and Federal financial and tax
laws and regulations. |
Vision
It is the
vision of the Controller's Office staff to meet the financial and accounting
needs of a diverse and dynamic campus community with quality performance and
in a professional, courteous and service-oriented manner. Additionally, we
aspire to play a leadership role in our part of the university industry.
