Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha of Florida Alumni Chapter
offers scholarships to community college chapter members who plan on attending
Florida Atlantic University.

- All Florida Academic Team Scholarship - Award
$1250 per semester to members of the All Florida Academic
Team with a minimum of 3.5 GPA. Renewable for up to 5 semesters contingent
upon maintenance of a 3.2 GPA while a full-time student
at FAU. Deadline for nominations is June 1 for transfer in the following
Fall or Spring semester. Apply through the FAU Director
of Financial Aid.
- Transfer Educational Achievement Award (TEAA)
- Awards of $1175 per semester for incoming junior transfer
students with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Limited to US citizens or permanent
resident aliens. Renewable for up to 5 semesters contingent upon maintenance
of cumulative 3.0 GPA while a full-time student at FAU.
The deadline to apply is May 1st.
- Community College Honors - Limited
awards of $1,250/semester for incoming junior transfer students with
a minimum 3.5 GPA and graduates of the Honors Program at a Florida community
college. Student must maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA. Deadline for nominations
is March 1 for transfer in the following Fall or Spring semester. Apply
through Undergraduate Admissions Office to FAU Director of Financila
Aid.
- Brain Bowl - Two scholarships of $1175
per semester for students on the winning brain bowl team. Renewable
for up to 5 semesters (or until graduation). Apply through Community
College Relations Office or to Office of Financial Aid.
- De Pan International Transfer Student Scholarship
- De Pan International Student Scholarship is an award of $2000
for a student transferring to FAU on a student or scholar visa after
completion of at least one year of study at another institution. Eligibility
criteria include outstanding academic achievement, English proficiency,
and evidence of community service or activity. Renewable up to three
years contingent upon maintenance of a 3.2 GPA at FAU and full-time
enrollment.
Apply by April 1st to the Office of
Admissions.
