Sunday, August 20th: Community Service Project – Paint Your Heart Out (you must sign up in advance by emailing our advisor, Jennifer Bebergal at Bebergal@fau.edu). The program is from 11am-2pm and is worth 3 points. Transportation will be provided. Before the event, we will hold our FIRST MEETING of the semester from 10-11am

Sunday, September 10th: Alpha of Florida Induction Ceremony, 6-8pm in the University Center, Boca Raton Campus. All new FAU students (or returning students who have not been inducted into the alumni association) must attend. You must have been inducted into a Phi Theta Kappa chapter at your community college and be in good standing to be eligible for Induction into Alpha. RSVP to Sandra (sandradahlin@yahoo.se) no later than noon on Wednesday, September 6th with your name, SS# and the chapter and community college where you were inducted. There is a $5 charge to get an Induction certificate from the PTK International headquarters. NO OTHER CHARGE – this includes dinner for you and up to 2 guests (additional charge for more guests). Were you inducted already? You can still attend the 2006 Induction for no charge for you and 1 guest!
FLORIDA LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE – hosted by Alpha of Florida at FAU, Boca Campus – Friday, Sept. 15 – Saturday, Sept. 16th. Attend the meeting on August 20th or September 5th for more information! Don’t miss it!!!
