EXPLORE LLC
Open to all first-year students who have not decided which major they will pursue at FAU.

The Explore LLC is a community designed specifically for students who are exploring their major options at FAU. Any undeclared/undecided FAU freshman, ranging from students who absolutely have no idea or a few options in mind, will find that this learning community is the right fit for you! Students in the Explore LLC will have the opportunity to participate in special programs that will focus on self-exploration and assessing major/career options that are a “good fit” for you at FAU.
What courses do I take in the Explore LLC?
FALL semester: (click here for the choice of classes and times for fall 2008)
English Composition I (3 credits)
Learning Strategies & Human Development (1 credit)
1 Appreciation “core curriculum” Course (3 credits)
1 Humanities “core curriculum” Course (3 credits)
Appropriate “core curriculum” courses (3-5 credits) *
SPRING semester:
English Composition II (3 credits)
Appropriate “core curriculum” courses (7-10 credits) *
Career & Life Planning (1 credit)**
*Based on possible majors and the recommendations of the students’ academic advisor.

• Find Support! Have tutoring, advising and other support services available to help you succeed—right in the residence hall
• Be Involved! Have special programs designed just for you as an undecided freshman at FAU
