SeaTech,
FAU's state-of-the-art ocean engineering research
center, opened in 1999 on a site ideally located
between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic
Ocean in Dania Beach. The Office of Naval Research
funds much of the work that is carried out there
by faculty members in the University's nationally
known Department of Ocean Engineering. |
