Faculty Accomplishments

Brooks Clarence Brooks, Department of Theatre and Dance, was recently selected as a 2012 Associate Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts during the February 20 – March 11, 2012 residency session. Brooks will spend three weeks with Master Artist Liz Lerman,  choreographer, performer, writer, educator, speaker, and the recipient of numerous honors, most notably a MacArthur “Genius Grant” Fellowship (2002). ACA, an artist residency program in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, brings together “internationally-acclaimed master artists from different disciplines with talented artists selected by the masters.” This is Brooks’ second ACA Associate Artist residency. His first was in 2005 as one of nine Associate Artists working with Master Artist Douglas Dunn, postmodern dancer and choreographer.

Sculpture Magazine Blane De St. Croix's (Department of Visual Arts and Art History) work, Broken Landscape, is featured on the cover of Sculpture magazine. For more information click here.
